Talking about spring in English
(1) What images spring to mind when you hear the season “spring’?
I start thinking about the blue sky, green grass, flowers and singing birds. Also I imagine special smells of spring.
(2) How do you feel when spring arrives?
I feel happy. I feel that I’m alive and I can do everything. Spring is my favourite season.
(3) What things about spring do you like most and least?
The beauty of nature I like the most, slushing on roads I like the least
(4) What happens in spring in your country?
Most people who live in the countryside or have a country house start planting vegetables and work on the land. If you want to get a good harvest you should work hard.
(5) In what ways is spring the best season?
It’s getting warm in spring. Birds are singing. It’s a very pleasant season. At least in Russia.
(6) Do you always do spring cleaning?
Yes I do. I usually wash windows and throw away unnecessary stuff. it’s like a new start of life
(7) Is spring the same in all parts of the world?
No, it isn’t. It depends on the climate. In Asia for example they don’t have spring at all.
(8) Are there any special events that take place in spring in your country?
There is International women’s Day in March. Then there is a traditional Russian holiday called Maslenica. People bake pancakes and celebrate the end of winter. We also celebrate labour day and victory day in may.

(1) What do you like to do in spring that you can’t do at other times of the year?
I like walking around and skating. Also it’s a good time for some sport activities outside, like jogging and others.
(2) How would you feel if there wasn’t spring?
I would feel weird. Spring is a good and important season. Especially a late one, when all the snow is gone and it’s sunshine.
(3) Would you like it to be spring forever?
No, I wouldn’t. I like other seasons as well.
(4) What’s your favourite spring memory?
I can’t remember anything in particular. We usually travel somewhere in March. So I have many good memories.
(5) What clothes do you like to wear when spring arrives?
Jeans jackets, T-Shirts, baseball hats, shorts. I usually wear something light and comfortable, because it’s warm outside.
(6) Do you think spring feels differently to people of different ages?
Probably. As for me, I feel it as well as I did in childhood. Nothing changed.
(7) What adjectives would you use to describe spring?
Warm, dry and pleasant.

Absolutely. Spring makes the world brighter.
