Back idioms. Part II

  1. When was the last time you really put your back into doing something?

I really put my back into improving this YouTube channel. It takes a lot of time to make new dialogs, write new transcripts. But it’s very interesting and I enjoy doing it.

  1. When was the last time someone gave you a slap on the back for your good work?

It was last week. I was participating in a webinar with a presentation of our company. I did pretty well, so my boss  gave me a slap on the back at the end of it.

  1. Who would you be really glad to see the back of forever?

I don’t know really. I don’t know anyone who I would be glad to see the back of.

  1. What do you find so easy that you could do it with one arm tied behind your back?

I think I could drive a car with one arm tied behind my back. But it’s better not to do this of course.

  1. Do you do bad things the minute your boss’ / teacher’s / parent’s back is turned?

No I never do anything like this.

  1. Do you ever have to watch your back to make sure nothing bad happens to you?

Hmm I think I do, but can’t remember anything in particular. I think everybody has to watch his back, when getting in hard situations.

  1. Have you ever turned your back on someone / something and simply walked away?

Yes I have and sometimes I regret I did so.
