Have you ever?

(1) Have you ever lost some money?

Yes, I have. I’m always trying not to get sad (грустить), because I believe that I can find more than I lost one day in the future

2) Have you ever broken a bone?

Yes twice, when I was a child. First I broke my hand and one year later I broke my leg’s bone.

3) Have you ever been on a really exciting holiday in another country?

We went to Thailand in April and there was the Thais New Year. Locals splashed (плескали) each other and us with water. This is their good tradition.

4) Have you ever felt like giving up studying English?

I gave up (бросала) studying English several times because I didn’t see the progress and didn’t feel confident. I think many people have this problem. But one day I understood that I should just keep studying (продолжать изучение) in order to be better in English. The better we become the slower we learn. This is a normal thing in foreign languages.

5) Have you ever had a fight and lost?

No I haven’t. I’m a girl. Girls usually don’t do that.

6) Have you ever told a big, big lie to your parents?

No, I haven’t. I’m a good daughter. Maybe in childhood I told some little lie to my mother, but she always unveiled (раскрывала) me anyway.

7) Have you ever done anything illegal?

No, I haven’t. I’m a honest citizen (законопослушный гражданин)

9) Have you ever made someone you love very angry?

No, I haven’t. I don’t think this is a normal thing.

10) Have you ever wanted to dance in the streets because you were so happy?

No, I haven’t. I think it’s too weird (слишком странно).

Yes, I think that everyone has ever dreamed about it. This is not a bad dream. But now I don’t usually think about it. I like being myself and I’m happy.

3) Have you ever lost your temper and got really angry in public?

I’m always trying to control myself. So no I haven’t. I think this is the last thing you can do in public.

Yes, of course I have. But I don’t think that it makes sense (имеет смысл) to regret something too much. Everything that is done is done for the best.

I think I have. But I can’t remember anything in particular (в особенности, в частности)
